Jeremy's successes with his Edgegrove Gundogs have been achieved with the help of a well conceived breeding programme that has meant that he has established a continuous and sound female line that has produced the goods. This female line is responsible for many Field Trial Winners and Field Trial Champions as well as many excellent companions in the shooting field. Jeremy cannot emphasise enough the importance he places on the quality and soundness of a good female breeding line.

Jeremy has used his own male dogs at stud as the breeding programme has demanded, but has also ventured to outside blood when he felt it was necessary. Any male dogs that he buys in as puppies progress through a comprehensive training programme with a view to field trials when they are old enough and have had good game and shooting experience.

Jeremy's vast field trial experience coupled with his jovial and friendly manner means that he is in much demand as a judge, both here in the UK and abroad. In addition to his UK judging appointments, Jeremy has also had the privelage to judge the UK, Irish, Swedish and Danish Championships. In January 2010 he judged the Cocker Championships in Scotland.

The Edgegrove Springers continue to provide Jeremy and many other competitors with successes in the field trial arena.
